South Dakota Prairie Chicken / Sharptail Grouse Hunting
Greater Prairie Chickens can be seen in very few places in North America and can be harvested in even less. We are fortunate to have thousands of them along side countless numbers of Sharptail Grouse.
We have access of MILES UPON MILES of acres of South Dakota prairie that offer unmatched opportunities for Sharptail Grouse and Greater Prairie Chickens.
Starting the first Saturday in September up until the state pheasant opener on the third full weekend in October, the following Grouse/Chicken hunts are available:

2 Day Hunt
$2050 per hunter
About the hunt:
- 250,000 + acres of private and Indian reservation land.
- Guide with pointing dogs included.
- 4 hunter minimum, 12 hunter maximum.
- Lodging Included.
- Field transportation included.
- Meals, shells, bird and license NOT included, but may be added.
- GRATUITY is NOT included.
3 Day Hunt
$2800 per hunter
About the hunt:
- 250,000 + acres of private and Indian reservation land.
- Guide with pointing dogs included.
- 4 hunter minimum, 12 hunter maximum.
- Lodging Included.
- Field transportation included.
- Meals, shells, bird and license NOT included, but may be added.
- GRATUITY is NOT included.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
No refund of deposits will be made under any circumstance, however we do allow a portion of your deposit to be transferred to another date.
If the cancellation is prior to July 15th of the same calendar year, 100% of your deposit will be transferred. Cancellations July 15th and after, and with re-booking your hunt within the same season, 25% of your deposit will be forfeited. If the re-booking takes place in the following season 50% of your deposit will be forfeited. If the re-booking takes place 2 season away from the original booking 75% of your deposit will be forfeited.
The deposit required to hold your date is $1000, a minimum of 16 paid hunters is required to have exclusive usage of the lodge and a private hunt. If you book a hunt with us and less than booked number actually arrive for the hunt with less than 60 days notice, the balance of the missing hunters will be invoiced to the hunters whom didn't arrive and/or the rest of the hunters in the group.
